"I'm Erika from Phoenix, AZ. I'm a mother of two who has struggled with severe asthma for 25 years; I've been hospitalized multiple times and placed in ICU for it. I'd never heard of this condition until I was diagnosed with esophageal vasculitis. This can cause damage to the esophagus and other organs. What has given me hope is that I finally found a doctor who looked deeper into my asthma and found out that it was a rare form of vasculitis. They helped me get off steroids and onto a medicine where I haven’t had an attack in almost two years! My advice is to keep asking questions and get a second opinion!"Thanks for sharing, Erika!
